Tanya (Will Never DM First) : Happy to. I am Tanya, Admin Manager at Polker. I help build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification. I also deal with queries that come in via our social media accounts and email, tracking them down, and making sure that the issues are resolved quickly and satisfactorily.

I also do a lot of AMAs with other crypto communities to spread the word about Polker.

Bà Tân | : Question1. Can you briefly tell us about Polker project ? @tanya_lumen

Tanya (Will Never DM First) : Polker or PKR.io is a novel platform that offers multiple protocols that can be implemented alone or in combination. We provide solutions to problems that multiple industries that implement blockchain technology are facing.

Polker.Game is the first use case of our platform. It is the first blockchain based, Free to Play & Play to Earn, Poker NFT metaverse game that uses Unreal Engine 4 for immersive and powerful gameplay while utilizing a provably fair system and TRNG technology. Our gaming metaverse combines virtual reality with the endless possibilities of blockchain technology. Our users will be able to enjoy immersive graphics and play among each other within the metaverse. They’ll also be able to edit the graphics and create a personalized gaming experience.

Bà Tân | : Question2. What are the advantages of Your project ?

Tanya (Will Never DM First) : We actually have a lot.

First, we have our Provably Fair System, which uses the potential of the blockchain to provide full transparency in every aspect of gameplay by using our multiple patents granted technology. The player is fully protected against fraud and cheating. We store every gameplay action and value as a hash in a smart contract on the blockchain. By taking the raw values and hashing them, you are able to compare and verify the results independently to prove there was no manipulation.

We also have our True Random Number Generator (TRNG) system, a provably fair and auditable technology that uses both SHA-256 hashing in combination with blockchain technology. The protocol uses seed words from the users (typically players) combined with a seed word from the PKR protocol. The resulting SHA-256 hash is then used to interact with a smart contract on the blockchain network. The resulting block header from this transaction is used to create a provably fair random number.

Our graphics is built on Unreal Engine 4, which powers real time graphics, highly detailed assets like dealers, environments, tables and visual effects.

Also, Polker’s play-to-earn model focuses on earning awesome NFTs for achievements in game. This enhances game immersion and helps create our interactive metaverse.

So we have F2P, P2E, NFTs, metaverse, 3D Unreal Engine 4 graphics, TRNG and Provably Fair System — elements that we believe will redefine poker gaming industry.

Bà Tân | : Question3. Please tell us about the goal you want to achieve in this year?

Tanya (Will Never DM First) : Well, our main game (exe format) is going to be released later this month. Our early access will be rolled out on March 14, 2022 and this will be live until the main game is launched. The access codes will be sent out in a couple of days. Our bespoke NFT Marketplace will be live, and we will also have a limited exclusive NFT sale. Our team will also be attending the NFT LA conference end of March.

Our Full Game Release (Mac — dmg) will be live on the second quarter, and will also roll out a new feature for Mac and Windows. We will also have our our official merchandise store. Mobile development is also in the works. We will also roll out new feature by the third quarter.

By the last quarter, we will be launching new games and expanding our metaverse.

So all in all, it would be a very busy year for the Polker team. The community has a lot to look forward to.

Bà Tân | : Question 4 5 . Every project has a story behind their name, Can you tell us more about the story behind this? Who are the team behind this project? can tell us their background?

Tanya (Will Never DM First) : polker is a play between poker and Polkadot. However, Polygon provided a better solution and had their network live quicker. The name still worked out, though.

The Polker team is made up of diverse, talented individuals from different parts of the globe, with backgrounds in dev, crypto, gaming, IT, social media and marketing, finance, customer service, architecture, etc. All of us bring to the table different skill sets that make Polker such a dynamic and solid team, delivering on milestones after milestones. We currently have 50-plus full time employees — 14 from our dev team, 6 of which are dedicated UE developers.

Q1. As crypto users we don’t want to lose our assets to some scam projects that run away and disappear with our money so why should we invest in the your project as a long-term investment?

Tanya (Will Never DM First) : Polker is not a fly-by-night project. We have patents and have pending patents on the protocol that our platform is built on. That proves that our team has spent years developing the technology and concept that the project is based on. We have an ambitious team, and we are working on an expanded universe, in which Polker.game is just the first of the many games we will launch.

Also, tokens allocated to the Team, Dev, Operations, Marketing, and Advisor are locked for 36 to 60 months, with vesting starting on May 25, 2022. So we are just as motivated to make sure that our project is for the long-term.

Q3. Regarding the safety and security of your platform what are the security measures adopted and have you done any audit of smart contracts? @tanya_lumen

Tanya (Will Never DM First) : Our smart contract was fully audited by Beosin.

Pen testing for our game was completed by Quinel, a leading independent and internationally accredited testing laboratory/inspection body in the field of gaming, in September last year. We are carrying out extensive penetration tests on the updates that have been made since our last Security Audit. We will have Quinel back on board to run full penetration testing of the game to ensure all aspects of the game are fully secure at launch.

Tanya (Will Never DM First) : We do. We firmly believe in community engagement — this is not just lip service. One of the more concrete proof of that is our updated tokenomics. Changes were made in response to our community’s feedback and suggestions. The merch store idea was floated in our Telegram crew a few months ago. We have so many avid poker players who have been part of our beta runs, who did not just identify the issues to be resolved but the features but were very open about the features that they want to see in the game.

We love our community. We would not have achieved so much in the past year without their support, and we continue to work hard every day, including weekends, to make sure that we deliver those milestones.
