Bà Tân | : Question1. Can you briefly describe what is Moxy? We would like to know more about it and how it works.

Derek Rathbun : We founded Moxy in order to bring Play & Earn mainstream. We’ve positioned Moxy to be the middleware layer that will power the next generation of video games. Moxy brings the utility of blockchain plus Proof of Play and Play & Earn mechanics to any video game through an industry standard SDK/API stack. Publishers are able to easily introduce their own regulatory compliant Play & Earn mechanics to new or existing titles with the help of our infrastructure, team, and expertise

Bà Tân | : Question2.What are the outstanding features of the Moxy project compared to other projects?

Nick Cote : Game development studios can implement blockchain native technologies, specifically Play & Earn functionality, with no previous blockchain expertise or functionality. This allows new and existing titles to adopt Moxy without fundamentally changing their game, business model, or focus. This will enable mainstream publishers to enter the blockchain space and utilise the technologies in a frictionless manner, furthering the Play & Earn revolution, leading to greater crypto adoption.

Bà Tân | : Question3. What are the utilities of the $MOX Token?

Derek Rathbun : Great question. $MOX is a utility token with multiple forms of utility. We will be launching with live games on day one. Moxy Club members will begin earning various rewards through participation inside of the ecosystem. Some of our primary utility consists of: participation in Play & Earn events; including tournaments, purchase masterclasses, submit game projects for funding and participate in voting events. All of these events will reward users inside of the ecosystem. Voting events will help shape the future of Moxy and Play & Earn gaming. This will give power to the community, as they will be able to shape the environment of the Moxy Platform. Additionally, Moxy does not require users to purchase overpriced NFTs in order to play our video games and begin earning rewards. Everybody is able to participate, regardless of NFT or token holdings. We endeavour for Moxy to be as user friendly as possible with a very low barrier to entry in order to reach the mainstream audience

Nolan deFouw : In our latest update, we revealed that we are set to launch the Moxy Platform on March 31. We will be launching with live tech and playable video games. Our token launch is currently scheduled for mid-April. On the same day of our token launch, our inauguration NFTs will be distributed to Moxy Club members. Following our launch, Moxy Club members will be able to start earning Proof of Play payments, as well as collecting SCORE when playing our titles. Additionally, game studios will be able to apply for early access to our Play & Earn API, which is much further ahead of schedule than we originally anticipated. We have another major announcement that we will announce right around the time of TGE. This will be a game changer and will take Moxy’s utility to a whole new league.

Matt deFouw : Currently, we’re on track to launch our platform, games, and token over the next month starting with Moxy Club at the end of March. As for the long term vision of Moxy… I am excited to see our flagship game, Allies of Crypto, enter full development. We’re also looking to improve the Moxyverse by implementing our API stack into mainstream game titles and expanding our catalogue of compatible Play & Earn titles. Your Moxy Club account will soon be a full SSI wallet as this will be a necessary component of web3, mainstream adoption, and future regulatory compliance. Moxy is also pursuing SOC 2 + PCI Level 1 compliance in order to ensure Moxy becomes a trusted SSO + identity provider to the broader gaming and blockchain communities. Lastly, Moxy will level up and move towards the Moxyverse via Moxy Club Governance and community engagement. With a user-enabled Governance structure in place, the Moxyverse will be industry leading and not as beholden to external market forces.

Each new game that is added to the Moxy platform will add to the utility. This is the primary focus. Moxy will also host tournaments and seasons with additional prize, $MOX is required to participate. Moxy will feature an NFT marketplace with various types of NFT’s offered, more on this will be announced shortly after TGE. $MOX will be utilised to participate in a myriad of Play & Earn events and the utility will grow with each game added to the platform. $MOX will be used to purchase various types of NFT’s as well purchase masterclasses, submit games on Moxy Launch and participate in voting; helping shape the community.

Nolan deFouw : There are plenty of great features Moxy has to offer, my favorites are Proof of Play and Play & Earn. $MOX is a token that can be used for participation and rewards in any mainstream game. Essentially Moxy has made blockchain technology available to the entire video game industry. Moxy delivers rewards in 2 ways: Proof of Play and Play & Earn. Proof of Play rewards users for simply playing their favorite game, the more time they play, the more MOX they can earn. Play & Earn allows players to take it to another level and participate in paid events, whether those events are single, tournament or seasons. The possibilities are endless. The number of games that can participate are limitless. The utility MOX token represents is unprecedented. And we haven’t even scratched the surface of what’s planned for programmable utility for NFTs on Moxy’s ecosystem.

There will be 4 types of NFT’s, 22 variations in total within those 4 types.

Yes, there will be different benefits and utility. Moxy is the first to feature “programmable utility”, so utility and benefits will be announced and applied in the months to come as new games are added along with tournaments and seasons…

This will make for a very interesting, as Moxy NFTs will have future utility and benefits

Matt deFouw : I got this question :)

I really like this question because there is a great story to be told. The very initial ideas for Moxy came from a “wouldn’t it be cool if” discussion with my two oldest sons: Nolan and Leto. I brought in my friends Kirk and Travis, as well as my lifelong business partner, Derek. We began planning the groundwork for our game Allies of Crypto, which is still being worked on as we speak. Around this same time, I decided to call up the my good friend and former President of Atari, Lawrence Siegel, who I had met in crypto valley in Zug Switzerland in 2017. Larry liked the idea and brought on Stewart Bell, co-founder of MicroProse and Nolan Bushnell, Founder of Atari and inventor of Pong. Stewart introduced Tony to the project, and he joined the founding team. From that point, we have assembled a totally amazing team and began turning our ideas into Moxy reality… Fast-forward a little over one year, we have a working product and are ready to launch at the end of this month! It’s been a great journey, and I’m know there are many more great times to come. Welcome to the Moxyverse!!!

The whole purpose of Moxy is to be “By Gamers, for Gamers.” Moxy exists to service and empower gamers and the larger gaming ecosystem. The expectation is that a Moxy Club member should immediately feel at home within the Moxyverse and not have to “get a PhD in crypto” to get involved. Of course, any/all degens and apes are always welcome and encouraged to join, but you don’t need to start there to be a true Moxyan.

Q3. Can you list 1–3 killer features of Your Project that makes it ahead of its competitors? What is the competitive advantage your project has that you feel most confident about? @drathbun

Derek Rathbun : Good question. I’d say our three best features are:

1. Play & Earn.

This will differentiate us from other Play to Earn games, as fun and user experience will be prioritized

2. Proof of Play

This is an ecosystem wide user reward system, and will incentivize participation inside of Moxy.

3. Moxy Forge

Moxy Forge allows game publishes to implement core Moxy features into their games

Matt deFouw : This will be on your roadmap for sure. The whole point of Moxy is to have as much user engagement as possible and promote the utility and community around Moxy Club and the greater Moxyverse. A bug bounty is a great way to promote that goal

Q5. Metaverse and NFTs is hot trending now. Do you have a play to have it in Moxy? If so, can you tell us the plans of Moxy in Metaverse & NFTs?

Matt deFouw : The Moxyverse is our Metaverse implementation but I have to be very vague on purpose right now.

Moxy will have a full user driven governance component revealed in the coming months.

Moxy employs a very unique system of programmatic utility for NFTs…. Moxy NFTs will have real utility and will provide the ability for Moxyans to utilize NFTs within the Moxyverse for a plethora of uses.

There is very very exciting news coming on both of these fronts in the near future, but what we’re doing here at Moxy is so new and unique, we can’t release news too early for fear of plagiarism.
