Bà Tân | : Question1. Can you briefly describe what is LandRocker ? We would like to know more about it and how it works. @tolstoyerik
Erik Tolstoy : Sure, so LandRocker is a fully 3D online multiplayer game built on blockchain. The story begins 20 years in the future when our technology on Earth has allowed us to begin exploring other planets of our solar system.
Players will compete in vehicle-based online multiplayer battle and race modes to earn NFT mining tickets that can either be exchanged on the marketplace or consumed to launch mining expeditions to far away planets in search of crypto and other in-game rewards.
In our mining mode we generate planets algorithmically and distribute rewards randomly within them. All coordinates of the rewards are saved on the main net for complete trust and transparency. Players will have a limited amount of time to mine the planet using their vehicle. Whatever tokens, NFTs and crafting materials they find are theirs to keep!

Bà Tân | : Question2. What are the games that the LandRocker team focuses on developing?
Erik Tolstoy : The LandRocker team is purely focused on developing LandRocker, however our parent company Infinite8 is in the process of bringing many new projects to blockchain, including a roguelike RPG, a football focused entertainment app, a racing game, and a crypto backgammon game.
Bà Tân | : Question3. Does the LandRocker team plan to open a token sale ? What tokens are there ?
Erik Tolstoy : Yes we are working towards opening our private sale shortly, with public sale coming in Q2 2022. We offer two tokens — our utility token and governance token.
Bà Tân | : Question4. Can LandRocker team please update some LandRocker latest news or major events to attract more users ?
Erik Tolstoy : We have just announced a partnership with HeliconNFT, another UAE based blockchain company with tons of experience in the events industry. They recently hosted the Blockchain World event in Abu Dhabi where the first LandRocker tournament was held live.
We are putting the finishing touches on our Android version to prepare for the closed beta that is coming. We wanted to make sure the game was playable on Android as well as PC to allow as many players as possible from around the world to participate.
Also, we have our first playable version of our metaverse — Moon City — where we plan to host many events in the future leading up to our launch.
Bà Tân | : Question5. What is the development plan of the LandRocker project at present and in the future?
Erik Tolstoy : LandRocker has been in development since late 2017 but the project (and the P2E space) has evolved a lot since then! We have our fully playable game that we are now polishing in preparation for our closed beta testing period later in Q1 2022. We have a totally revamped UI system that we are introducing in the next version.
The game is slated to go into early access towards the end of Q2 2022. Once LandRocker early access has launched, our focus is on constantly adding new game modes to the mix. The motivation behind LandRocker has always been to make a game that truly appeals to gamers, and that people enjoy playing, not just for the potential of earning, so always adding new content and game modes is a big priority for us.

Bà Tân | : Question1. Not all NFTs that are offered in the market are valuable, so how will LandRocker ensure that the NFTs that are manufactured, issued and traded on its platform are valuable and successful, and what strategies will it use to make them competitive in this fierce market?
Erik Tolstoy : All the NFTs generated in LandRocker have their own in-game utilities, and at the point of minting there is an element of stat randomization to ensure a high variability of items available on the marketplace.
Vehicles in LandRocker are made up of a sum of all their NFT components, such as shield generators, sensors, mining tools, storage, etc., allowing players to fine tune their vehicle to their unique playstyles by acquiring specific components from the marketplace.
The NFT crafting system requires players to combine in-game crafting components with our utility token (both found while mining) to mint a new vehicle component. This need to acquire in-game crafting materials before minting ensures that the market does not become saturated with too many NFTs early in the lifecycle of LandRocker, and supply increases steadily as the player base and game progresses.
The original crafter of an NFT will always receive a royalty every time that NFT is resold on the marketplace, setting up a flow of passive income over time and incentivizing more crafting. Also, the NFT owner has the ability to rent out components or complete vehicles to other players.
Bà Tân | : Question2. There are so many projects regarding P2E Gaming but less usecases. What makes LandRocker different from others? @helga_fionaa
Erik Tolstoy : LandRocker was designed to put just as much importance of the P mechanics as we do on the E mechanics. This is the major difference between LandRocker and the many other P2E games coming to market. We did not want to create another work to earn game. We’ve created a 3D online multiplayer game that players can truly enjoy playing, just like they do any other traditional non-blockchain title.
Our battle and race modes are designed to be highly competitive and do not feature any pay to win mechanics, so new players can always jump right into the action on an even playing field and begin earning NFT mining tickets. By designing these modes in this way, we are able to host a variety of competitive tournaments and become one of the first blockchain games that can enter into the world of Esports.
Bà Tân | : Question3. LandRocker is an online multiplayer gaming metaverse. With LandRocker, what does the Metaverse concept mean to you and how have you applied it within the platform? How does this help to improve the game system in LandRocker and improve the user experience as well? @timap97
Erik Tolstoy : The metaverse is a core feature of LandRocker. Our Moon City acts as the central hub to all game activities, where players can meet, trade, interact, create parties and launch any of the LandRocker game modes. The potential of the metaverse space is endless, and up until now, no one in the industry is truly using its capabilities. Leading up to launch we plan to use the metaverse as the primary meeting place for our community, where we will host presentations, AMAs, competitions, live auctions and scavenger hunts. We are even planning to do our land sales through the metaverse — why select your plot of land off a grid when you can actually visit the space you are interested in buying in the metaverse with a virtual real estate agent and truly get a grasp of its potential.
We are working with our partners to create unique spaces and experiences within the metaverse, allowing them to interact with their communities directly through the LandRocker metaverse.
In the future, our Moon City can even be used as a portal to launch other partnered projects seamlessly.
The LandRocker metaverse effectively does away with a lot of the need for traditional menus, gamifying the entire experience for users. Want to launch a battle mode session with your friends? Bà Tân | : Question4.What role do the community and players play in the LandRocker ecosystem, what functions do they perform and can they perform, what importance does the LandRocker add to the ecosystem and finally, for the next features to be added, will the community have a say in it or not? @oGiaLinh5
Erik Tolstoy : No game can survive without the support of their community and players. Our community is everything to us. Our community, namely governance token holders, will have a direct say in every future decision on the development of LandRocker, and everyone is able to submit suggestions to improve the game. We want LandRocker to evolve directly with the input of our community members. In exchange, we offer an ecosystem which allows players to extract value out of the time they put into our game.
As well, the community plays a vital indirect role in the development of the LandRocker story. Players will align with one of the two major factions in LandRocker — the Rockeneers and the Lantenders. Based on gameplay data, the story in a future season will progress more favourably for the leading faction from the previous season. By playing and winning games, players are helping their faction gain an advantage in the development of the LandRocker story.
Bà Tân | : Question5.Noted during research that at LandRocker player can earn token. However, when too many tokens are generated, the value of your tokens could decrease and then inflation occurs. How does LandRocker work to avoid inflation in the game to maintain a relatively stable economy? @DermotClement
Erik Tolstoy : This is a major issue for many play to earn games coming to market, or who have already come and gone. There are two main necessities to avoiding this, first by controlling the release of tokens relative to the player base to ensure that the circulating supply of tokens does not grow too fast compared to the growth of our community. Secondly, by offering a multitude of fair use cases for the token within the game and metaverse space, we encourage buying pressure on the market to balance out the pressure of those looking to cash out their earning immediately.
Through activities such as crafting and staking, players are encouraged to hold and use the tokens they have earned to generate passive income, rather than liquidating immediately. We also have a token burn system planned as a deflationary mechanism to support the value of the tokens in circulation.
Our goal is to balance the supply and demand of the token such that the tokens being used at any given time for in game activities such as crafting are recycled and are the same tokens that are being issued as rewards to players participating in mining. This balance allows us to control the circulating supply of the tokens without needing to constantly inject more of the token reserve into the market.

Erik Tolstoy : Wow so many questions! Thank for the interest everyone. Let me start from the top and go through them

Q1. Revenue is an important aspect for all projects to survive and maintain the project / company. What is the way to generate profit / revenue of token? What is the income model?
Erik Tolstoy : Great question. So on top of initial fundraising through token and NFT sales, we will take a small transaction fee from secondary market NFT sales. A portion of this will be considered revenue for LandRocker, but also some of it will be going into the treasury. We have plans to add jackpot rewards into our mining mode periodically every time the treasury fund reaches a certain amount. For example adding 1 BTC to the prize pool periodically which one player will ultimately find and earn!
Q2. Many blockchain projects are on paper only and no product or product has no practical meaning. Please let us know what is your project currently practical product in use? What are your plans for the product to be better in the future?
Erik Tolstoy : We took a very different approach to entering the P2E industry. Whereas most projects begin as a whitepaper, seek funding and then create the product, we actually already had a fully playable version before we released our whitepaper.
We hosted a live tournament in December at Blockchain World in Abu Dhabi where players were able to get an early look at the game and compete for prizes. The feedback was excellent.
We are always focused on improving the gameplay of LandRocker before anything else. Our team is made up of avid gamers who to really enjoy the experience while they earn through P2E
Q3. How can I buy this tokens? Is it available on any exchange?
Erik Tolstoy : The token is not yet available on exchanges although we are in communication with a few major exchanges already.
We are working towards our private sale now, with listing naturally coming after this round is complete.
Q4. What are the competitive advantages of your project? What advantages do you have over competitors? What would be your project secure most similar contender in the market today in terms of scalability, security, features, and adaptability?
Erik Tolstoy : One of the major advantages is that we do everything in house. From game development, to art, animation, sound design — everything is done internally and up to our standards.
We have been in development much longer than other projects coming to market now, which gave us a lot of time to refine our product and make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. We were never in a rush or cut corners to speed up any process.
Q5. I am an EXPERIENCED DEVELOPER AND ETHICAL HACKER, does you have plans for HACKATHON so as to check the security of your ecosytem periodically and also invite developers to build?
Erik Tolstoy : Yes! We will be doing a promotion soon wherein if anyone can disprove what we are claiming about our token distribution through smart contracts in our mining mode, they will earn a prize. We are very proud of the way we have designed our systems such that no one, not even our own dev team, can predict the locations of any prizes in our planets
