I started in crypto in 2017, when the bull run had made crypto a hot topic at my workplace :D
Then I gradually started learning about the fundamentals and I was hooked
I discovered GenShards a few months back and it caught my attention immediately — because the problem it was solving was something I was facing myself ! PreIDO liquidity, or rather the lack of it, is indeed a big issue in DeFi today.

This is something many community members have been asking us about. Access cards are your entry pass into the Genpad ecosystem; with different NFT cards enabling different access levels such as the GenTicket allocation size. Gen Access v1 is scheduled for release in May, and so far we’re ahead of schedule.

With version 2 of Gen Tickets, more ticket types would be mintable, along with a greater possible variety of vesting schedules.

Gen Access cards would be released in four categories giving the holders varying access rights.
They would be redeemable through GS tokens.

Cryptocat : The Genticket platform (v1) enables Genpad partner projects to
✅ Easily create GenTicket NFTs (for their pre-IDO tokens )
✅ Define parameters for them (such as vesting schedules)
✅ View all their existing tickets in an easy-to-use GUI

In addition — a brand new feature would be the ability of ‘sharding’ the tickets and listing them on an AMM DEX. The sharding process would essentially make it possible to trade fractional pieces of a Gen Ticket, making the Gen Tickets highly liquid.

$GS Tokens are required to be swapped for Genesis Access NFTs to be a part of the Genesis network. Based on the amount of tokens held access tiers are decided enabling different access rights to its users.
Gen NFTX: 🀄️
$GS token is the native token on the NFTX platform allowing users to benefit from reduction in Swap fees for tickets, access cards or Gen smart contracts.
Gen Tickets: 🎴
Each ‘Gen Ticket’ will have a varying amount of Pre-IDO tokens that are inside. The tickets themselves can be traded on an NFT exchange like OpenSea (later on NFTX) — or they can be swapped for tokens after the IDO, at the time of the token generation event.

Cryptocat : GS aims to NFT-y the OTC market — transforming NFTs into a liquidity vehicle for pre-IDO tokens. By wrapping time-locked fungible tokens into NFTs, Genesis Shards is creating a new marketplace for previously illiquid tokens. This opens up a whole new universe of possibilities !
- For Investors — they will no longer have to worry about shady OTC deals with high default risk : they can simply utilize the safe, trustless pre-IDO liquidity provided by Genesis NFTs.
- For DeFi projects — they can leverage the early liquidity of their tokens offered by the platform and build a strong community support early on in their journey. They can also get a sense of early price discovery helping with quicker course corrections.

Q5. Can you explain your global expansion plan … Is that the only market you focus on all the time? Are you focused on building or growing and attracting customers and users or partnerships?
Cryptocat : For Genesis — adoption would be both in terms of
a) DeFi projects adopting it as their early stage partner, and also 🤝
b) the community, using our pre-IDO marketplace platform 👥
Once we have promising early stage DeFi projects choosing us as their preIDO partner — the community side of the equation will largely take care of itself. Excited to share that we are already seeing massive interest from DeFi startups interested in our ecosystem and product.
In addition to this, we have a strong network of Access partners who will be helping us expand our ‘field of vision’ — by helping bring in promising early stage DeFi projects into our ecosystem. 💎
