John F : Absolutely! My name is John and I am the co-founder of Gemie! Me and my partner Sunny co-founded Gemie together seeing the huge opportunity to connect Celebrities and Fans through Web3 and blockchain technology last year!

My background is in entertainment — which i have over 10 years of experience in it- I worked with some of the biggest celebrities and entertainment industry and can see their huge interest in expanding their business in the Metaverse landscape. My partner’s in gaming where he actually founded an award-winning gaming company and has been in the industry for over 10 years. The combined experience in entertainment, gaming, marketing and blockchain shapes Gemie for what it is today! ���

John F : Sure~ Gemie aspires to be Asia’s top entertainment metaverse, where users will be able to have meaningful connections with their favorite celebrities without geographical limitations. Fans coming from all around the world can engage with celebrities and IPs by moving between virtual planets in the Gemie metaverse while enjoying Gemie NFTs’ exclusive benefits.

With the rise of blockchain technology, there are more industries welcoming the concept of creating a presence in the metaverse. The metaverse is gaining traction on a regular basis, and it is expected to take over the global economy in the future. Gemie views this as an opportunity to increase online and offline fan engagement by offering a unique immersive, gamified experience along with all kinds of digital assets.

Bà Tân | : Question2. What are the main products that the GEMIE team is focusing on developing?

John F : We are having a rather aggressive year of 2022 — a lot going on. Here’s a bit of update on Gemie’s development:

1. We will launch the presale of the Gemie rooms in Q2, 2022 — we are so excited about the launch and we will keep you guys updated on the mint date and details in Discord! ���

2. The web gateway of our online store also in Q2 of 2022 (very soon, stay tuned!).

3. Of course Gemie’s discord server is opened recently, lease join for all kinds of early access — discord.gg/gemie

At the same time, our team is meeting with various Top-tier Asian celebrities and artists in order to locate the best partners for Gemie.

John F : While there’re a lot of different NFT marketplaces available now, Gemie’s platform offers more than just selling NFTs. Gemie’s utilities are connectable, for instance, users who purchase an NFT (designed and created by celebrities) could show it in their customizable virtual rooms or wear it on their avatars. Not only will we recreate all aspects of the fan experience on Gemie, we will also add functionalities made available by blockchain technology to revolutionize the fan experience. John F : At this moment, our main focus is on celebrity-created NFTs and partnerships. Other than that, our team is working hard to prepare the presale and public sale of our token, token sale date, volume, and purchase method will be announced once it is confirmed. The top priority for our team now is to continue to connect with top celebrities in the region and make sure our product development is on track.

We do not want to rush for an IDO or IEO at this point. Both internally and externally with partners and advisors, we’re planning the best course of action for Gemie. Our incubator Newman Labs is well connected to all the top-tier launchpads and major exchanges. With their help, there’s no doubt we will have a successful launch.

Bà Tân | : Question5. What is the development plan of the GEMIE project at present and in the future?

John F : Gemie is here for the long haul and we are keeping things moving sustainably. Other than constantly forming partnerships with top entertainment agencies and production houses we are also planning to host events like live concerts, movie premieres, and meet-and-greets in Gemie. Back to your question, Gemie’s token plays one of the big part in our ecosystem where there will be more and more types of NFTs available for users to mint in the future! Gemie does not only sell NFTs, we also have a dedicated Gemie Marketplace, and most important of all we built a Metaverse where users can put their utility-focused NFTs to use and enjoy their perks and benefits.

Users will be able to buy limited-edition NFTs in Gemie and use them as decorations in their customizable virtual rooms. Room enhancements, decoratives, avatar clothing, gestures and motions (e.g. dancing moves), and collectibles could all be purchased by users as well.

John F : As a metaverse project, we do not only offer users to experience themselves in virtual events with their favorite celebrities, users also have an opportunity to receive special perks both online and offline. Not only that, Gemie also encourages users to be creative in designing their own space and look in the metaverse. We are here for the long haul and we strike to provide an all-rounded metaverse platform for users.

We have put in an enormous amount of resources in developing the whole Gemie platform including the Avatars, Gemie rooms and the Gemie Metaverse — We are also backed by some of the most credible investors in the crypto space.

Gemie has also reached partnerships with some of the major players in the entertainment industry in the region. This allows Gemie to bring top-tier K-pop stars, blockbuster franchises, KOLs, and other entertainment brands to the Gemie metaverse. We believe that these are some of the incentives that encourage gamers to enjoy Gemie over traditional games.

Bà Tân | : Question2. Gemie brings together two great topics that have been growing recently: NFT and Metaverse. So, what are the possibilities that users can have through this? Can artists have their own virtual museum? Also, is specific hardware required for optimal Metaverse performance?

John F : We believe that the Gemie metaverse and NFTs can potentially enable the entertainment industry’s next wave of expansion in the Web3 era. We don’t just want users to enjoy visual events (like concerts, or celebrity meet-ups) in Gemie- we also want them to be ablek to be freely creating their own place with the NFTs they adore! They can do all that in the Gemie Room and the Gemie Metaverse!

Here’s a picture you can imagine… There are several planets in the Gemie Universe, and each one has its own set of events. Each celebrity can have their own planet when Gemie planet represents users’ hometowns. Celebrity events will be happening on their planet, fans can also purchase limited NFTs created by their favorite artists.

Last but not least, there is no specific hardware required to enter Gemie, all you need is a device that can access the internet. We do not limit our target audience to the crypto native communities, we would like the mass to get into the metaverse.

Bà Tân | : Question3. Not only Gemie but also many projects currently building metavere and NFT games. Well, my question is What are the advantages that players get in playing Metaverse Games? And what will encourage them to enjoy it over traditional games?

John F : Nice question! I personally think that there are different benefits to playing metaverse games and traditional games, I don’t think one needs to completely replace the other. I’m a big gamer myself and I think the biggest differentiator between metaverse/gamefi and traditional games is that the in-game items truly belong to you. Depending on the game, there can also be a play-to-earn aspect, an element of resale ability in terms of in-game items, etc.

For Gemie in particular, we aren’t necessarily building out an extensive metaverse game, but more of an extended reality that has gamified elements. We hope that Gemie will be an extension of our users’ physical lives, another place to hang out and make new friends, attend events, and spend time with the added benefits of having online and offline utilities with our NFTs.

We don’t aim to replace any existing games or platforms, but we hope to deliver another venue where users can enjoy creative fan experiences. The metaverse makes it possible to design environments and experiences that are unimaginable in the real world due to different physical and safety limits.

John F : Thank you for your interest in our project! To enter the Gemie universe, you do not need to download any apps. All you need is a laptop and a browser! There is no minimum token to buy to get into Gemie. Of course, Gemie token holders will have exclusive benefits. Users will be able to buy limited-edition NFTs in Gemie. Bà Tân | : Question5.Audit play an important role in finding out the known bugs of smart contract. Can you tell us how strong security system?Have you done an audit by any third party before?

John F : We understand your concern. We haven’t gone through the audit process yet since Gemie is currently in the pre-launch phase now. While we are still in the process of constructing our product and writing our smart contracts, auditing definitely plays a big part in Gemie’s overall product development. Ahead of launch, we plan to have at least 2 third-party audit companies review all of our codes and smart contracts before releasing anything to the public. We take this very seriously and want to make sure all our users will be able to enjoy Gemie’s full metaverse experience without any worries.

Q1. what is the background, of the your project, team do you think team’s qualifications, and experience, able to support the long-term development, of the project?

John F : Good question~ Gemie founders, investors, and advisors are entertainment, gaming, and communication industry veterans. Along with a stacked team of experienced tech, design, business development, and marketing individuals, we are all working together to deliver what we believe is the top metaverse in the Asian entertainment arena.

If you haven’t heard, we recently announced the completion of our most recent round of funding. The 3.8m will help us accelerate the growth of our marketplace and metaverse. I’m delighted to announce that the Gemie metaverse’s various modules are now being designed and built (e.g. User rooms, concert hall, avatars, etc). We’ve been circulating a private demo room with investors and partners first to get their feedback before releasing it to the public, but the response has been positive — you may have already seen a few screenshots this week if you follow us on Twitter or are in our Telegram communities!

Additionally, our incubator, Newman Labs, has also been an incredible help to us throughout this process as they have quite a lot of experience in the crypto and Web3 space. Last but not least, we’re very lucky to be able to work closely with our investors and partners every step along the way. They provide a lot of feedback (like in the case of our demo room). We’ve also been able to leverage their connections to meet different crypto and entertainment industry partners to further the development of the platform, bring on more celebrities, and improve the experience for Gemie users.

Q2. When will the game release beta and official?

John F : We plan to release beta- Gemie room in 2022 Q3, while Gemie metaverse launch will be 2022 Q4. Our team wants to make sure our product development is on track.

Right now our focus is the upcoming room sale and also securing various celebrities as collaboration partners — in order to provide the most enjoyable metaverse experience to our users!

Q3. What are the competitive advantages of your project? What advantages do you have over competitors? What would be your project secure most similar contender in the market today in terms of scalability, security, features, and adaptability?

John F : I guess while there are other metaverse platforms, we don’t feel like we have any direct competitors because Gemie is the only one with an Asian entertainment focus. Given our team’s years of experience in the entertainment, gaming and communications industry, we are optimistic about delivering a leading entertainment platform. We know the culture and audience in Asia. We understand the pace and unique qualities of Asian entertainment that differ from those in the West.

We also have a stacked team behind our project which is propelling our success. The Gemie team is comprised of experienced tech, design, business development, and marketing individuals and have been working on our goals at an aggressive pace to deliver for our community. Our incubator, Newman Labs, has also been an incredible help to us throughout this process as they have quite a lot of experience in the crypto and web3 space. Finally, we’re very lucky to be able to work closely with our investors and partners every step along the way. They provide a lot of feedback and support in different areas including marketing, business strategy, connecting us with the right crypto and entertainment industry partners, and so on.
