Mahadev Vasireddy is the Freela CEO, he pursued Computer Science from Penn State University and comes with an entrepreneurial background and training. He is the Vice Chairman of elite educational institutions, Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology (VVIT) and VIVA The School. In the last couple of years, he also executed responsibilities as Global Ambassador of both VVIT and VIVA, playing a crucial role in establishing partnerships with Government and various MNCs including Google, Siemens and Coursera.
Mr. Mahadevâs innovative thinking and knowledge about industry 4.0 led to the idea and inception of Freela, a Defi-powered, commission-free, P2P and self-governing DAO. He envisions Freela to be a game changing Blockchain unicorn and the future of freelancing facilitating a win-win platform for both employers & employees ensuring âright person on right job for the right pay at no extra costâ.
And for people who are not familiar with Indian Institutions, VVIT is the 3rd biggest college of engineering in the state of AP and rated among the top 25 most innovative colleges in the entire country by govt of India

BĂ Tân | : Question2. Whatâs the motivation for starting this project Freela ?
Val : Actually, there has always been a gap between employers and employees in human race and we have had multiple systems come in place over time to bridge the gap. These include consultancies and freelancing for the last couple of decades. So the best system is the freelancing because it doesnt need a lot of layers which makes sure that the people working will get paid âalmostâ full amount. That âalmostâ had to be said because, end of day even freelancing companies are acting like a middle man by charging around 20â25% of each work. So we decided to see if its possible to re-visualize a model where the employee gets paid in full by using all the new tech like blockchain, Defi pools and Dao(patent is filed for the whole model).In even simpler words, Its the only model/platform that provides every feature than centralized companies like upwork or fiverr provides and still charge nothing literally.

Val : Weâre proud to say that we have closed our private sale in few days without doing any publicity, and we have some of the biggest names in space involved in the project, literally every single one of them invested in the project as soon as they got to know about it. So for now I will just share the Fund names and hold off on the partners itself. we are planning to be a one stop solution for any projects and teams in coming days (this has not even been announced to partners yet đ). So the plan is to make sure you will be able to find Developers for the project, designers for the projects, writersâŚ..animation guysâŚwebsite and even community managers and moreâŚ. So its like a one stop solution for the up coming projects who dont want to be wasting their time with the not so important stuff

Freelancing platforms like Freelancer, Fiverr, Upwork and offer almost all the features that you are offering in a better way. So, you think using the Defi and Blockchain technologies will be your USP and will make your platform standout from your competitors?
Val : Are they ? I donât think that these actual platforms offer âalmostâ all the features that weâre offering, actually I think theyâre pretty far from it.
I always found it funny how it was always called âfreelancingâ but never free đâŚ.So I felt if at all there is a company/service that can be called freelancing, its us! so just made it into a shorter form from freelancing to freela!
1. Of course none of the competitors can say they are free!
2. Our arbitrators are professionals in the specific fields trying to resolve any issues you are going to have unlike other platforms who uses the regular call center people help you out đ
3. Our reputation system is designed in a such a way that finding the right guys becomes lot more efficient and easier

From a startup project to a mainstream project, being a pioneer in the industry, do MARKET MAKING PRO team anticipate that many new startups will show up and compete?
Val : They can try, but weâre the first to propose a Commission Free Platform with professional mediation and reputation system.
And obviously being the first of its kind and a pioneer in the industry give us a big advantage. So we expect to keep it :)

Investigating your project in depth I could see that you plan a complete integration with African markets, could you give us more details about why the project is so interested in alliances with African markets? What benefits does the project obtain with these alliances?
Val : We are planning a complete integration with the global market, African market is itself a heavy one in huge expansion and we will of course take also advantage from it, but clearly not restricted to Africa :)

Smart contracts are vulnerable to bugs, and even recently three big new DeFi projects were victims of this, costing users funds. How efficient and secured is your smart contract, and did you ever audit it via any external party?
Val : Will be having a audit soon! but yeah it was quite unfortunate people had to lose a lot of moneyâŚ

Q1. Could you please provide some info about your Roadmap and how Market is progressing so far?
Val : We just closed our private sale raising 1.4M from big actors in the space without doing any publicity, so pretty cool, we will also release our mvp in the next weeks :)
Q2. Now, the token launch process is easy, but to develop the ecosystem, stabilize prices, expand the market is a challenge in every project? So what are your team first steps towards solving this problem? what is your plan to maintain token price & supply in the market?
Val : We selected carefully our investors on what value they can add, we expect to provide a useful product that will be the best solution to every freelancers and companies that need freelancer
Q3. What is your strongest advantage that you think will make your team leading the market? In contrast, what is your weakness? How do you plan to overcome it?
Val : Our advantages are clearly all the features weâre providing, from them a total free commission platform is difficult to overwhelm.
We are usually not a team thats ok with having weak points, so of course we did have a lot of weak points over time but we made sure we addressed them and that is how we ended up here. In simple words, I dont see weak points rn because if I do, I will make sure its not weak anymore. So if you guys can find any weak elements, please let us know and we will work on it đĽ

Q4. Can you share your fundraising situation and how your private and public offering tokens are distributed? And what are the plans for the next IEO? What should we prepare if we want to participate?
Val : Our fundraising situation is ok, Freela raised enough to do everything we need, Our IDOs will come this month on BSCPAD and Poolz, which will be followed by a public sale which will be announced later :)
weâre astonished by the support we got from funds and investors, so weâre not worried about anything and everything is going very well.
Q5. Adoption & Awareness about Platform is very important for any Creator as well as Users! So, What are your plans to attract More users as well as Creators with Non-crypto users too ?
Val : Our plans is to stay on what weâre developping, a commission free freelancing platform, self governed with extensive tools that will provide everything that individuals and professionnals could need to work efficiently. Weâve traditional payment and all, so weâre not targetting crypto users. Rather we expect crypto companies to rush toward our platform for seeking developpers, content writers, designers and all :)
