Vladislav Ponomarev : I’m Vladislav, CEO of Broxus (https://broxus.com/), one of the core backers and developers of the Everscale (https://everscale.network/) ecosystem

We are mainly focusing on the network validation utilities and DeFi ecosystem development

Our products include, among others, the cross-chain Octus Bridge (https://octusbridge.io/) (connecting Everscale to Ethereum, BNB Chain, Fantom and Polygon), FlatQube (https://flatqube.io/) (AMM DEX, farming and token builder), Everscan (https://tonscan.io/) (chain explorer) and EVER Wallet (https://l1.broxus.com/everscale/wallet) (the main wallet of the entire ecosystem)

A few words about the network itself.

Everscale is a unique blockchain design that proposes a highly scalable and decentralized network, paired with a comprehensive operating system.

Everscale presents some new and unique properties, such as dynamic multithreading, soft majority consensus and distributed programming, which enable it to be scalable, fast and secure at the same time.

It is governed by a decentralized community and recently we have fully switched from a SMV voting (https://gov.freeton.org/) to a fully on-chain governance (https://everdao.net/).

To date, Everscale is the fastest proven multi-threaded blockchain allowing up to 54k transactions per second, so if Visa puts all of its transactions to Everscale, it will easily fit 🤗

Bà Tân | : Question1. Can you briefly describe what is Everscale? We would like to know more about it and how it works. @xestrum

Vladislav Ponomarev : Everscale is a powerful layer-1 blockchain that allows building dApps of any complexity. Thanks to its infinite sharding capacities, it can be scaled almost without limits just by adding additional validators.

It is a proof-of-stake network, meaning if you want to become a validator, you need to lock a certain stake, which at the moment is between 700k to 2M EVERs (the native currency).

However, to make it more decentralized, the network offers a functionality named depools, when any community member can put their small stake to this contract and help any validator to reach the required threshold.

And the participant gets a share of the validation reward.

Everscale uses Solidity as primary programming language, making it easier for Ethereum developers to migrate to our ecosystem

Currently we have dozens of different projects that enjoy the benefits of Everscale, and are looking for new ones.

Bà Tân | : Question2. What are the outstanding features of Everscale compared to other projects?

Vladislav Ponomarev : 1. Decentralization. We have launched the network in a decentralized way, without running any ICO and having no investor pressure. It let us to develop the 360-degree ecosystem for developers, and now we are ready to scale even more.

2. Infinite throughput. Thanks to its architecture, the network is capable of processing from several thousands to several millions transactions per second. It means that it can fit the most of modern blockchain games, without increasing the gas price and suffering the productivity.

3. Almost instant finality. The average block time in Everscale is about 0.2 sec, making it one of the fastest modern chains.

4. Low gas fees. We are thousands time less expensive than Ethereum and we plan to decrease gas fees even lower, up to 100x by end of the year. It means you can have complex computations on Everscale.

5. Connectivity. Thanks to Octus Bridge, the network is well connected to such networks as Ethereum, BNB, Fantom and Polygon. This year, we plan to connect at least to such chains as Avalanch, Solana and TRON. This allows you to host your complex computations in Everscale and propagate the results of it to any of the connected chains.

6. Widespread community. We are not focusing on a single region: Everscale is open for everyone. We have lots of local communities in Asia, Middle East, Europe, Americas, CIS and Africa.

Bà Tân | : Question3. What is the main token of the Everscale project? What role does it play in your ecosystem?

Vladislav Ponomarev : The main network token is named EVER. It used for many purposes: gas fees, value transfer between smart contracts, staking, validation, voting and many other applications.

It is traded on such popular platforms as Gate.io and MEXC, as well at the decentralized FlatQube.io

Its wrapped version — WEVER — will soon be available in Ethereum and BNB chain

Bà Tân | : Question4. What are the achievements that Everscale team has achieved?

Vladislav Ponomarev : We managed to achieve a lot. Since the project start in May 2020, we have built a full-scale ecosystem, including core system contracts (multisig wallets, depools, airdrops, etc.), DeFi apps (dexes, bridges to other chains, lending protocols, launchpads, etc.), NFT marketplaces, a plethora of wallets (including browser extensions, web and mobile wallets), and so on.

Everscale is listed at CoinMarketCap, Coingecko, dAppRadar, DeFiLlama and dozens of other popular cryptocurrency trackers.

We have a really strong partnerships with the largest media, e.g. Cointelegraph, and raise a lot of different discussion topics at their premises.

At the end of last year we have started the process of migration to Rust nodes, much more reliable and fast, and plan to finish the migration in the coming month. This will add more security and scalability for Everscale users.

Bà Tân | : Question5. What is the development roadmap of the Everscale project at present and in the future?

Vladislav Ponomarev : As Everscale is a decentralized project, there are a big number of thematic communities, who develop their own roadmaps. You can find a compilation of such roadmaps at the Everscale website: https://everscale.network/about

To name a few, we are planning to launch zk-snark protocol for anonymous transactions, on-chain git storage, a dedicated drive chain (competitor of IPFS), DAO builder and many more interesting solutions.

Each of these projects has a strong team behind it and plans to launch their own tokens on Everscale network, opening a huge opportunity for all kinds of investors.

Bà Tân | : Question1. What prospects do you see in Everscale and in the projects of this ecosystem.

Vladislav Ponomarev : We see several strong prospects for Everscale development

1. DeFi — thanks to its connectivity and multi-threaded architecture, Everscale can become a home to all kinds of DeFi applications, starting from simple DEXes to more complex interlinked systems.

2. GameFi and Metaverse — Everscale is fast enough to ensure the almost online interaction in a virtual world. It means that any of the popular games can host their computations on Everscale and provide their users with much smoother game experience.

3. DAO funds and control panels. The number of connected chains is constantly growing, which allows a wide number of dApps to control the constellation of their contracts from a cheap and fast blockchain with almost instant finality — name it, Everscale.

4. WebFree. The new generation of the Web will be hosted on blockchains with high capacity and throughput, and Everscale is definitely a leader among them. Uncensored hosting, worldwide availability, low storage fees — all of these will become available thanks to Everscale.

Bà Tân | : Question2. What are the advantages of your blockchain from other blockchains: for example, from solana?

Vladislav Ponomarev : I covered most technical advantages above and will add just a few words about our nearest competitors.

Solana promised the throughput equal to 55k TPS, but the recent events showed that the practical performance is roughly 2k TPS.

In Everscale, we applied 54k TPS during the recent performance test, and despite of the aggressive conditions and slashing, the network managed to perform well.

However, I should acknowledge Solana has a very good marketing & PR team.

Bà Tân | : Question3. How will you get liquidity into the assets across multiple-chains?

Vladislav Ponomarev : Thank you, a very good question indeed.

Everscale has a dedicated group of professional liquidity managers, developers and funds named DeFi Alliance. This group daily monitors the best practices for liquidity attraction from other networks in the market and talks to hundreds of different liquidity providers to learn their core motivations and feedback.

Thanks to this active work, we are constantly improving our offering for liquidity providers, starting from retail investors (who can enjoy our farming (https://flatqube.io/farming)) to the most sophisticated ones with tailor-made proposals.

Moreover, thanks to Octus Bridge (https://octusbridge.io/), we made the liquidity inflow from other networks easy and convenient.

Bà Tân | : Question4. Liquidity mining has sparked a growth in the DeFi market, but increased gas fees and network congestion limit users from taking advantage of DeFi’s full potential. What is the most pressing issue that needs to be addressed? How does #EverScale plan to provide a long-term remedy?

Vladislav Ponomarev : The core reason why this happened is due to the increase complexity and demand for Ethereum dApps, including different DeFi protocols with farming mechanics.

Everscale offers of the best gas prices in the market, and will also decrease it even more. Moreover, the distributed architecture allows a significant optimization of smart-contracts execution, which doesn’t heat up the gas price.

Vladislav Ponomarev : Initially there were minted 5B tokens, of which 3B were burned later. Now the network has the yearly inflation of ~2%

Q13. COVID 19 has slowed down many economies around the world but as a crypto business, does it affect you negatively or positively? Are you still on track to achieve your goals or are you planning a new development?

Vladislav Ponomarev : We have made a tremendous progress during the COVID times

Q14. Non-crypto user is very important for mainstream adoption. How you are planning to attract non-crypto users towards your project? Is there any upcoming partnership that will brings non-crypto user and real-use case?

Vladislav Ponomarev : Yes, we are attracting strategic B2B partnerships who are using Everscale not only for speculative purposes, but as a super-computer

Q15. What was the biggest milestone your project has? What is plan in the future ?

Vladislav Ponomarev : Transfer to Rust nodes — it unlocked a lot of new features for our development. In the coming year, we plan to release a lot of new products

Q17. ♦️ I read that Everscale claims to be a Blockchain with a high performance in scalability terms, so can you explain us what make you better that other chains like Ethereum or BSC?

Vladislav Ponomarev : If we compare those networks as computers, Ethereum is a Pentium-I powered PC, whereas Everscale is a powerful data-center with unlimited server racks. All this thanks to the dynamic sharding and multi-threaded computational architecture

Q18. What is the structure of this project , is it decentralised or a open sourced protocol where everybody can contribute? If so, how does the governance plan on being handled?

Vladislav Ponomarev : It is a fully distributed and decentralized project. Anyone can participate in the governance and express their opinions

Q19. Do you consider community feedback/requests during the creation process to expand on new ideas for your project? Many projects fail because they do not understand the target audience and customers. So I want to know who is the ideal consumer for your product?

Vladislav Ponomarev : Yes, we stay in a very close touch with our community and collect all the feedback provided to us. Most of our products are as good as they are thanks to the community, who helped us finding bugs and improve UX/UI

Q20. NFT is very hot trend now, do you pretend to catch up with this trend or still follow and focus your original roadmap?

Q21. Do you have any plans for ambassador programme role for your project growth and awareness? If yes how may I apply?

Q22. Too many projects promise magic but never release any working product or prove any revenue, Within a short/long time of release. Is it like this? If not can u tell us, What makes it different from other projects?

Vladislav Ponomarev : That is why we first focused on the development of the core infrastructure and bottom-layer products instead of just pumping the project with marketing

Q23. Almost 4/5 of investors are focused purely on the price of token in short term instead of understanding the real value and health of the project. Could you tell us on motivations and benefits for investors to hold your token in long term? @xestrum

Vladislav Ponomarev : EVER is gaining more and more distribution and application. We believe its fair price is much higher than the current one (not an investment advice)

Q24. What is your marketing strategy and how will your project have global expansion and acceptance where English is not spoken? What are your next priorities?

Vladislav Ponomarev : We are selecting local teams to better understand the needs and mindsets of local communities. It helps us build a much more efficient marketing campaign
